The Challenge
diptych inspired by the books written by Julia Ebner
multimedia performance in two episodes
The third production by the performing arts company adepth infusion focuses on the theme of extremism and the various tendencies of reciprocal radicalization in both online and offline environments.
Inspired by the books published by Julia Ebner, a researcher at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue in London , specializing in extremism, reciprocal radicalization, conspiracy myths, and terrorism prevention, digiXtremism is an exploration of an extremely harsh and uncomfortable world, without embellishments or attempts at aestheticization. It is a world filled with hatred, violence, and misinformation.

Extremism and radicalization trends in society have reached alarming levels in the past decade, and our artistic endeavor takes on the responsibility of informing about the mechanisms of prevention and combatting these issues. It does so through a clear-eyed examination of a present marked by social, political, and economic polarization.
