NODU’RAR traverses the elements specific to traditional Romanian thought, extracting from the universal symbolic heritage the aspects that define rural culture and civilization. It carries shadows of the past that find echoes in an increasingly insubstantial present, constantly redefining its form, language, and atmosphere. At no point does it seek to define authenticity; rather, it presents itself as an artistic, subjective perspective, structured into seven chapters that choreographically explore the multiple creative dimensions of femininity anchored in the sacred.

NODU’RAR is a contemporary dance and video art performance deeply rooted in Maramureș culture. It combines field research and documentation with old folklore texts, contemporary dance performers, an original soundtrack, and an intention to question what a myth once was and what it can still be today.
What is a myth in our time?
I will immediately give a first, very simple answer that perfectly matches its etymology: a myth is a speech.
